Each of my artworks hides animals, humans, or objects. This squirrel holds 64 hidden creatures and one Chaz face. I often conceal my face within my drawings. I craft them using Rotring Rapidograph pens, as fine as .13mm, on 100-pound acid-free bristol board with a plate finish. I begin with a pencil sketch, then find shapes of smaller animals to add, like solving a puzzle. The final step is inking it in. These drawings aim to provide a respite from our fast-paced lives, encouraging thoughts about nature and its amazing inhabitants.
