They close easily and securely for maximum protection under fire conditions. The doors include a three-point stainless steel bullet latching system. A fail-safe closing mechanism ensures they work every time. For added security, the handle comes with a cylinder lock and key set, or accepts an optional padlock.Manual-close door(s) open to a full 180 degrees and self-latch when pushed closed. Self-close door(s) shut and latch automatically when a fusible link melts at 165F (74C) under fire conditions. A unique, concealed self-closing mechanism offers obstruction-free access to contents.
