Lane Cedar Chest Safety Latch Lockset Replacement (Oval)

<p>We sell Lane's lockset for Lane's famous Cedar Chests. These chests are long lasting, and are often in many people's homes for decades, leaving some unaware of what to do when the lockset breaks. No worries, we currently have the lane lockset in stock, OEM and fresh from the manufacturer. To operate the latch, push in the lock's button like keyhole to loosen the latch, and let go to let the lock tighten. To operate the lack, simply rotate the key. In the locked position, the button cannot be pushed in. Similarly, these locks are designed to not "autolock" upon closing, as per the 1996 Lane recall. We urge you to replace your existing Lane lock with this child safe upgraded lock.<br><br>Our set includes two keys, the lock, and the latch. We have two kinds, the rectangle latch (old image says square, it's the same product) and the oval latch. Please check your existing chest to see which version of the lock you need.
