The NT universal dividing head is designed for both direct and indirect division. Its spindle rests on precision conical roller bearings. The worm gear is made of phosphor bronze, while the worm is crafted from Cr-Ni alloy, heat-treated, and precision-ground. The gearbox can be disengaged for direct division. The head offers a 40:1 reduction ratio and can be tilted from 10° below horizontal to vertical (-10° to 90°).
